This study investigated the level of acceptance and attitude toward vaccination against COVID-19 among academic librarians in Nigeria. It is guided by two objectives, two research questions and two null-hypothesis. The population of the study consisted of 7,287 certified librarians spread across Nigerian. Krejcie and Morgan’s table for determining sample size for research activities was used, and a response rate of 231 was achieved out of the sample size of 364. A non-probability sampling involving purposive sampling techniques was used. This study assesses the attitudes of students of Faculty of Communication and Information Science, Kwara State University, Malete, towards entrepreneurship development initiatives. It raises five (5) objectives and questions to achieve its aims. It adopts case study method as its research design and the students of Faculty of Communication and Information Science are its population. It uses simple random sampling technique to administer questionnaires to 250 students. Out of the 250 questionnaires administered, only 200 are returned, representing 80% return rate. ABSTRACT

This study investigated students’ perception of plagiarism, sources of information on plagiarism, attitude towards plagiarism, reasons for acts of plagiarism and knowledge of the consequences of plagiarism. A quantitative approach was used. Data was gathered using survey from a sample size of 319 graduate students of University of Ghana, selected using the stratified sampling technique. The main data collection instrument was the questionnaire and the data were analysed descriptively. The paper presents librarians’ attitudes toward information technology, their level of knowledge in IT, and their relationship with each other. Secondary data was collected through review of the relevant literature. Primary data was collected through a questionnaire survey of 244 librarians of libraries in Pakistan. The study revealed that awareness of the potential of IT, recency of attaining professional qualifications, and knowledge in IT had a significant relationship with librarians’ attitudes. Discovery tools have been widely adopted by academic libraries, yet little information exists that connects common practices regarding discovery tool implementation, maintenance, assessment, and staffing with conventions for research and instruction. The authors surveyed heads of reference and instruction departments in research and land-grant university libraries. The survey results revealed common practices with discovery tools among academic libraries. This study also draws connections between operational, instructional, and assessment practices and perceptions that participants have of the success of their discovery tool.
