The purpose of this thesis was to explore how legal defense nonprofit organizations (NPO) are using Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to provide legal defense for asylum seekers and improve the conditions of immigrants at detention centers. The goal of this study is to examine the data on how people use print and electronic resources. Users' preferences for both resources were measured using a questionnaire technique in the research. A sample of three university libraries in Ahmedabad received the survey. Descriptive and instructive research is conducted on the usage of resources, resource preferences, Internet use, browsers and search engines, databases for e-resource acquisition, and so on. The majority of students are aware of both sites, and their preferences for both are excellent. However, the majority of them want electronic resources.

The purpose of this study was to measure the number of contributions and highlight the contributions made by the researchers in the field of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and published on the Web of Science database during 2016-2020 using scientometric analysis. Data were interpreted by using software such as Bibexcel, Vosviewer, and tabulated using MS Excel. The results indicated that 8103 papers were published during 2016 - 2020 and the highest number of publications 2067 (25.51%) was produced in 2020. The study was anchored on four specific objectives and four null hypotheses which were formulated and tested at 0.05 level of significance respectively.
