Finding aid only for Folklife Archives Project 1168. Student paper titled “Spring House—Fort—Schoolhouse And Residence” in which Dona Morrison examines an unusual stone house located near Highway 31-E in Hodgenville, Kentucky. Morrison describes the materials used to construct the building and draws conclusions as to the purpose of each room throughout the the two-story residence. Information was collected from the two current owners, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Thompson, and Bernie Morris, former county clerk of LaRue County. Paper also includes severalblack and white photographs of the building.
