This presentation will outline the key components of the academic research life cycle and how libraries can align their services to best serve academic authors. By walking through each component of the academic research life cycle, we will outline the services libraries currently have available or can develop to best coordinate with the activities undertaken by the research community. This talk will also explore the development work occurring above the campus level to indicate the most useful standards and services available beyond the campus environment.
