Columbus Area Library Association Celebrates 25 Years

The article highlights the 25th year of support for Columbus and the Chattahoochee Valley area libraries in Georgia by the Columbus Area Library Association (CALA) in 2010. It is stated that the group presented the Library Recognition Award to Mildred L. Terry library branch manager Silvia Bunn for increasing its circulation 150 percent and that a 250-dollar scholarship for a library science masters degree has been established. A special proclamation was presented to Esther Curry in April for her long-term library support.
