Recruiting Beyond The Stereotype: Stop Grumbling And Start Doing, Stacey L. Knight-Davis, Sarah L. Johnson

The stereotypical image of librarians is a big obstacle in recruiting new people to the profession. Instead of simply rehashing the same negative media portrayals, this presentation explains how to change the public perception of librarians using techniques developed by nurses - a parallel profession with parallel problems.
