The Congressional Phase Of The Military Budget, 1961: A Study In Civil Military Relations, Leland E. Hall
Masters Theses
Introduction
Civilian control of the military in the United States is widely conceived to be Congressional control. The ultimate goal of Congressional procedures is believed to be the "effective Congressional--and civilian--control of the military establishment."1 It is questionable, however, if the United States Constitution intends Congress to be the instrument that exercises civilian control of the military.

There is very little published information about the statutes governing "driving under the influence of liquor" (D.U.I.L.). The educable nature of persons involved in such offenses 8 and the probable anti-social and sociopathic behavior in individuals leading up to the offenses, also need thorough investigation. Very pertinent also is the question whether or not there is a biological basis for this particular behavior; an understanding of …

The high school chosen to represent our model was the Mountain Grove Senior High School, Mountain Grove, Missouri. This particular school was chosen because of the availability of excellent records. The school records were of extreme significance as they represent the primary source of data used to construct our high school model. The only other …
