It is intended to be an analysis of this legislative provision, in general, and of counterpart fund operations in the Netherlands, in particular. The practical use made of the Netherlands local currency counterpart funds, which originated in connection with Marshall Plan grants, will be illustrated by several descriptions of economic and technical assistance projects promoted by these funds.
