The material contained in this pamphlet was prepared for and presented by request before a special Congressional Committee investigating the interstate migration of destitute citizens. A special hearing for the Middle Western States was held before the above Committee on September 16-17, 1940, in Courtroom No.2 at the state Capital, Lincoln, Nebraska.
