A History Of The Milwaukee Journal From 1921 To The Present (1937), Marcella Marguerite Connelly

Bachelors’ Theses

Though the title, A History of The Milwaukee Journal from 1921 to the Present (1937), may suggest merely a compilation of facts and figures showing material changes during that fifteen year period, that is not the primary object of this study. The author has chosen to pass lightly over the matters of mechanical changes, minor personnel adjustments, circulation increases and the like. Even the great work of Lucius Niemann, founder and inspiration of the paper, will be only briefly referred to, for that might well be the subject of another research.
