The City of Worcester, and Worcester County, Massachusetts are quite heavily populated. This population needs recreational facilities, and a high percentage turn to fishing the many lakes and ponds in the area. As a result of this desire to go fishing, a need for bait arises. The best all-around live bait for the game fish in this region is the shiner. Since the demand exceeds the supply, the game fishermen are quite willing to pay for their live bait.
