Under this system of segregation these neighborhoods are left in detrimental states. It is in places like Thomasville Heights where the phrase “place matters” becomes a call to action. The Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH) is a health technology assessment (HTA) agency. CADTH conducts appraisals on health technologies and makes reimbursement recommendations to Canadian public drug plans to guide their reimbursement decisions. When being considered for reimbursement, drug companies submit pharmacoeconomic reports, which typically include long-term decision models. These models make assumptions and use parameters that may favour one intervention over the other. This paper offers a broad overview of the philanthropic goals of microinsurance — namely, to provide vulnerable populations with more self-sufficient and sustainable methods of coping with risk — and through this lens, analyses the applications of multiple linear regression in developing dynamic models for microinsurance. We explain the foundations of MLR (multiple linear regression), and then give two examples for how a simple multiple linear regression model can be adapted with a novel outcome variable (famine) and dependent variables (climate change related costs). This paper attempts to examine a correlation between lockdown length and COVID-19 case rate, death rate and fatality rate. In March of 2020, the publishing of alarmist epidemiological models prompted government officials to enact sweeping emergency measures (Miltimore 2020). Notably, the Imperial College London model published by epidemiologist Neil Ferguson predicted a “best-case scenario” of 1.1 million COVID-19 deaths in the U.S. by August 2020. Background: Bronchiolitis is a leading cause of hospitalization for infants and results in over 1.7 billion dollars in yearly hospital charges (Hasegawa). The use of high flow nasal cannula (HFNC) on a general pediatrics floor may reduce hospital costs and length of stay (LOS, Kalburgi). However, the financial impact of HFNC use is not welldescribed.

Rodrigo Duterte, the President of the Philippines, realized the urgency as the Commission on Population and Development in 2019 recorded that almost seven girls, aged ten to fourteen, gave birth everyday- 2,411 girls that year. During the current academic year, both introductory and upper-division economics courses at Olivet have used an app in Canvas, developed by Beagle Learning, for the purpose of engaging students in critical thinking using an inquiry learning process. Students iteratively cycle through: 1) posing a goal question, 2) finding a resource which provides an answer to that question, at least in part, which then 3) prompts an additional question whose answer increases the degree of certainty regarding the original goal question.

When natural disasters disable coastal power grids, a WEC can be easily deployed close to shore and serve as a source of electricity. The ocean waves move magnets through a coil wired within the WEC to generate electricity. Pakistan has a total labor force of 65.5 million in 2019. According to the Labour Force Survey 2017-18, more than one-third of the labor force is working in urban areas, and one-tenth comprises rural-urban migrants. It is evident that rural-urban migration increases labor supply in the urban labor market and consequently causes a reduction in wages, particularly for unskilled and semi-skilled workers.
