Feedback is an important component to successful behavioral interventions. Regarding interventions to improve athletic performance, several studies have used different forms of feedback across multiple sports. This area paper examined the different types of feedback across studies on athletics, describing the forms of feedback and directions for future research highlighted among them. In particular, this paper described video feedback, verbal feedback, auditory feedback, and public posting.

This literature review will first describe the definition of bullying and the prevalence of bullying across populations. Populations include individuals with intellectual disabilities, individuals who are typically developing as well as children, and adults. Several interventions have been implemented to help remedy bullying occurrences, decrease the negative outcomes of bullying, and prevent the initiation of bullying. Therefore, this review will also discuss interventions that have been implemented to decrease bullying with a focus on BST and IST as these specific interventions have shown some of the most promising outcomes. A Review Of Training Interventions To Teach Safety Skills To Children With Autism, Gabrielle Mondello

Teaching safety skills to children with autism is a serious responsibility for caregivers, siblings, teachers, and other important people in the children’s lives. Finding the effective and most efficient way to teach these skills is important. Behavioral skills training (BST), in situ training (IST), video modeling, virtual reality, and the use of simulation training have all been evaluated for teaching safety skills. This paper discusses the safety threats faced by children with autism and reviews these various approaches to teaching safety skills.
