In a nation of 1.2 billion people, divided by 29 states, 18 languages and various different religions; the sport of Cricket seems to be the only love the country shares. So intense is the power of Cricket that India’s political inclination towards other countries can be assessed from its Cricket schedule. It is a source of pride, economic benefit and political power; however the sport is currently facing numerous corruption scandals.
