User Satisfaction A Predictor To Library Patronage Among Undergraduate Students In Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria, Lateefat Adeola Badmus Miss, Japheth Abdulazeez Yaya Dr

This paper investigated user satisfaction as a predictor to library patronage among undergraduate students in Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. The instrument used was a self-developed questionnaire by the researchers. The questionnaire validation was subjected to the scrutiny of the experts in the areas of the variables studied; it gave a reliability coefficient of 0.855 (85.5%) for library patronage and 0.837 (83.7%) for user satisfaction. A response rate of 100% was achieved. Data were analyzed using descriptive (percentage, mean, average mean and standard deviation) and inferential (Pearson Product Moment Correlation) statistics. Apart from the regular collection and services, libraries also need to focus on providing resources for competitive exams, as they help students prepare for various competitive exams and enhance their employability skills. This study focused on a specific population of competitive exam aspirants who use the Yogi Vemana University Library competitive exam section. The study examined library security mechanisms as a predictor for combating book theft and vandalism among undergraduates in university libraries in Ibadan, Oyo state, Nigeria. The survey design was adopted in the study, the study population consisted 16,293 undergraduates from the University of Ibadan, Kola Daisi University and Lead City University. The article's aim is to evaluate the bibliometric analysis on library services through social media between 2010 and 2021. Data for the library services and social media were taken from the Scopus database using bibliometric analysis. For the purpose of obtaining pertinent information from both data sources, a thorough search method was developed. Ultimately, 138 Scopus records were chosen. This is a quantitative descriptive study that employs bibliometric analysis approaches namely co-authorship analysis, citation analysis, and text data mapping with a help of VOSviewer computer application. The present study attempts to evaluate the level of awareness and attitude towards the application of web-based services among library professionals of central university Jamia Millia Islamia in Delhi. The questionnaire technique is used to collect the data from 34 library professionals working in the library system of JMI. The result of the work explains that the majority of the library professionals employed in the Jamia library system are aware of web-based services with the highest level of awareness about the use of open access e-resources with WAM value (9.30) and lowest value of RSS feeds (7.33). This paper investigated the attitude of library staff towards people with visual impairment in university and public libraries in Tanzania, with regard to the provision of library and information services. The study employed both qualitative and quantitative research approaches. The study population was randomly and purposively selected; and involved patrons with visual impairment, library staff, library directors, readers for people with visual impairment, institutions associated with people with visual impairment.
