The study sampled views from 200 undergraduate students at the School of Pharmacy and School of Basic and Biomedical Sciences. This study’s aim was to explore students’ access and usage of electronic resources in the University of Health and Allied Sciences’ library to make recommendations based on the results for a successful electronic resource provision and access. The study found that about 80% of students were aware of all the e-resources available in the University library, 46% use them daily, and 94% use HINARI, JSTOR, MEDLINE and PubMed. Purpose: This study aims to examine the access and purpose of internet use by the teaching staff of Peshawar Medical College, Peshawar.

Method(s)/Materials: Data were collected through a tested questionnaire from 115 teaching staff members of two major groups’ basic sciences and clinical sciences with a response rate (57.39%) of 66 members positively. Teaching faculty comprising 71.40% Male faulty members and 28.60% female took part in the study. Data were analyzed and tabulated using the SPSS tool.

Purpose: The study seeks to elicit information on gender difference with regards to the familiarity with IT, Search Engines, Automated Library Services and Electronic Information Resources. It also aims to determine the frequency of use of various Automated Library Services and Electronic Information Resources and the influence of the Internet on the information seeking behavior of the postgraduate students.

Methodology: The study adopted a survey method administering the well-structured questionnaire. The questionnaires were distributed with equal proportion based on gender among 208 PG students of science and social science faculty selected by stratified random sampling technique.
