This study analyzes the citations of Masters Theses in Library and Information Science of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria submitted from 2011 to 2018 with a view to determining the format and age of materials used and most frequently cited journals. The document checklists were used for data collections and the citations were extracted from the title pages and reference lists of each of the theses. Data obtained from 48 Masters Theses were examined. The purpose of this study is to analyse and map the metadata and keywords associated with existing research publications in digital library studies during the last 30 years. This is a quantitative descriptive study that employs bibliometric analysis approaches namely co-authorship analysis, citation analysis, and text data mapping with a help of VOSviewer computer application. The dimensions.ai, an international article indexing service, was used as the source to collect samples in this study. The study uses various bibliometric techniques to examine papers published in the Annals of Library and Information Studies (ALIS) from 2011 to 2021. Scopus database was used to gather the necessary information. Furthermore, the research productivity was measured using various parameters such as year-by-year distribution of publications with citations, RCI, AGR, ACPP, CAI, Citation analysis, and author, institution, and country collaboration. DESIGN/ RESEARCH METHODOLOGY/ APPROACH: The data for the period of 2013 to 2020 was collected by downloading articles from the Journal of Library and Information Science website http://jlisnet.com. The study comprehends intellectual structure and publication pattern of scholarly articles published in the Journal of Money Laundering Control ranging from the year 2014 to 2020 through the prevailing methods of bibliometric analysis. The study finds that the JMLC has published the lowest number of 29 papers in 2014 and the highest number of 117 papers in the publishing year 2020. The present study reveals the bibliometric analysis of research articles published in D-Lib Magazine from 2013 to 2017. The study covers the growth of literature and authorship patterns of the journal during the said period. Further, it analyzes various bibliometrics aspects such as authorship pattern, authors’ degree of collaboration, geographical productivity in scholarly publications and form of citation. Citations from the bibliographies of Andrews University education doctoral dissertations completed in 2013-2017 were analyzed to understand the needs of graduate education students for collection management purposes. The study looked at type, citation age, and availability of the sources cited. The citations from the 31 dissertations were mainly periodicals (47%) and books (37%), with smaller percentages of dissertations, Web sites, and other forms of resources. The present study is a qualitative and quantitative analysis of scholarly research publications for mapping the research productivity of University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, over a 15 year period (2004-2018). This study is based on SCOPUS database, and a total of 1319 publications were retrieved in order to examine the growth of publication, access type, type of documents of publication, authorship pattern, international collaboration, highly productive subject, author and their citation count etc. We have noticed an increasing trend in the number of publication throughout the year of our study.

Evaluating Special Education Journals With H-Type Indices And Journal Impact Factors, Zao Liu

This paper evaluates special education journals using the h-type indices and journal impact factor. Fifty-seven special education journals were selected from the special education category of Clarivate Analytics’ Journal Citation Reports (JCR) and two published lists of special education journals. The journal h-indices were compared among themselves and with their available impact factors. The correlation analysis of the metrics found very strong positive relationships between the journal h-type indices and between the Web of Science h-index and the journal impact factors.
