The study explores the ICT usage and computer skills of Library and Information Science (LIS) students in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The main objective of the study is to assess the potentials and challenges faced by LIS students in e-learning. The researchers used survey method with a structured questionnaire, involving 209 participants from two leading public universities (University of Dhaka (DU) and Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) in Bangladesh. Lack of academic integrity has frustrated the attainment of educational objectives especially in tertiary institutions in recent times. Perhaps, one of the most prevalent fraudulent practice among students, academics and researchers today is plagiarism. This paper examines the concept, nature and intricacies of plagiarism.
