This study investigated the effect of academic library on pre-service teachers’ academic achievement. Based on the purpose of the study two research questions and two null hypotheses were formulated and tested at 0.05 level of significance. Quasi experimental design was adopted for this study. The population of the study comprised of all the pre-service teachers in the department of Arts and Social Science Education, Ebonyi State University. This researcher investigated staff training programmes as correlate of service delivery in academic libraries in Imo State. The study was guided by three research questions and three hypotheses. This study adopted correlation design which also involved simple linear method. The population of this study consisted of 316 library staff in the seven tertiary institutions. A sample of 168 library staff used for this study was derived using Taro Yemen’s formula of sampling distribution. Cluster random, proportionate and incidental sampling techniques were adopted. This study examined the use of social media for information service delivery in Olusegun Oke Library LAUTECH Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria. Descriptive survey design was adopted for the study. Library personnel constitute the respondent, fifty-one (51) both (librarian and library officer). Questionnaire and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) were the instrument used to gather data. Descriptive statistics (such as frequency counts, percentage, mean) and inferential (Pearson Product Moment Correlation) statistical tools were used for data analysis. To ensure representativeness, we selected twelve (12) public university libraries that have dedicated websites. The purpose of the study was to investigate the availability and utilization of library’s ICT facilities by undergraduates of Rhema university, Aba. The research design used was a descriptive survey. A purposive sampling technique was used in carrying out the work. A total number of two hundred (200) respondents were used for the study. The instrument for data collection was a questionnaire. The present study attempts to find out the Internet usage pattern of the students of the Cyber Library at the University of Lucknow, Lucknow. The main objectives are to find out the awareness level, frequency of usage, satisfaction level and the problems faced while accessing the internet at the cyber library. To fulfil these objectives, a survey method was adopted and a structured questionnaire was used to collect data. This study examined staff motivation variables and effective library service delivery at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) and Machael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU). This study discovers the user awareness and satisfaction level of research scholars with resources in academic libraries. It has been conducted by survey method and distributed the pre-structured questionnaire among research scholars in three universities in Karnataka. The result indicates that more than half of the users are aware of on/off-campus passwords to access databases. The majority of scholars are satisfied with Internet access, database access, and library facilities in the universities. There is a significant difference between the awareness of on/off-campus passwords and the three selected universities; also between the awareness of on/off-campus passwords and database access in universities.

The main aim of this study was to analyze the contents and interactivity of academic library portals in India. The study was confined to a hundred selected academic library websites. A checklist along with a data sheet was used as the tool for data collection and Microsoft Excel was used as the tool for data analysis. The analysis revealed that the websites have an almost identical pattern of contents and interactivity. The majority of the websites used interactive applications. The study investigated the academic librarians ICT competency and skills towards effective library services in Ekiti State, Nigeria. Sample for the study comprised about 100 librarians who were randomly selected through simple random sampling. The type of ICT skills possessed by the librarian, level of their ICT competency, sources of ICT skills acquisition and the Challenges Librarians face when using ICT in delivering Library services in their respective libraries were the instruments used to collect relevant data for the study.
