This paper discussed the contemporary digital literacy skills among library professionals in Jimma university libraries of Ethiopia. The study was guided by six objectives and research questions. The design of the study is descriptive survey and the population consists of all librarians from Jimma university libraries. The instrument used to generate data is the questionnaire and the data generated was analyzed using simple percentages and frequency count for research questions and SPSS version 20.0. This study investigates the acceptance of digital library system (Digilib system) by students and librarians of the State Islamic University of North Sumatera (UIN Sumatera Utara) Medan. It highlights the system’s rate of acceptance from the perceived usefulness (PU), perceived ease of use (PEOU), behavioural intention to use (IU), and actual system usage (AU). ABSTRACT

Electronic resources are transforming most academic library systems and how students view and use these information sources is critical. The study thus explored students’ perceptions and practices regarding the use of electronic resources in public university libraries in Ghana. The study adopted the descriptive research design, and the quantitative research approach was used; hence questionnaires were the main instrument employed for data collection.
