The study assessed the COVID-19 information seeking strategies of rural dwellers in Delta North, Nigeria. This study adopted a survey research design. Fifty (50) respondents were randomly selected from each of the rural communities in Delta North used for the study, which amounted to 450 respondents used for the study. This paper focused on identifying ways of improving the web presence and visibility of Delta State Polytechnics, Ogwashi-Uku, Ozoro and Oghara, to enable them to maximize the potentials of innovative technologies for effective education delivery. The paper treated what web presence and visibility mean and how they can be measured. The web presence and visibility of the three Delta State polytechnics were comparatively examined. The study investigated the influence of work engagement on job burnout among librarians in university libraries in Nigeria. The study employed survey research design. The population of the study consisted of 624 librarians from 38 public universities in Southern Nigeria. Total enumeration was used. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings revealed that work engagement significantly influenced job burnout of librarians in university libraries in Nigeria (β =.184, t(498) =4.191, R2 =.034, p<.05). The study concluded that work engagement contribute to low level of job burnout among librarians in universities in Nigeria and library management should maintain good work practice to prevent job burnout.

This paper traces school library policy formulation and implementation as factors for attaining best practices in Nigerian school libraries from the inception of the National Policy on Education (NPE) in 1977 to the present. Nigeria’s post-independence educational policy advocates an active, learner-centered and resource-based constructivist approach that demands a central role for school libraries as learning and resource centers. This paper discussed the establishment of institutional repository in a private university, Nigeria. It started with the introduction and stated that repository is a key element in institutional research agenda. This paper analyzed the growth of open access institutional repositories in Nigeria over the last 10 years. OpenDoar website is a directory of all open access institutional repositories in the world. It is a quality-assured global directory that enables the identification, browsing and search for repositories. OpenDoar was analyzed to get statistics of institutional repositories in Nigeria based on such parameters as: Type, Status, software, total number of records, subject covered and content uploaded.
