The present study attempt to compare the research output in terms of publications between two Asian giants India and china in nuclear science and technology for the period 2000 to 2019 as indexed in web of Science database under different parameters like publications size, mode of communication, research wise distribution, authorship pattern and collaboration pattern, citation pattern. The main aim of this research is to evaluate the attitude of university students' towards Information Technology (IT) and to identify whether their attitude plays any significant role in contributing digital divide among them. The study used quantitative research design and administered a pre-validated questionnaire to a sample of 644 postgraduate students selected with stratified random sampling. The purpose of this article was to explore the pattern of publications, using bibliometric analysis, of Journal of Documentation for the period of 2005 to 2018. The results of the study shows that a total of 687 articles were published in the 14 years period from 2005 to 2018, with 71 (10.3%) articles being published the highest total in the year 2018. This study carried out the scientometric analysis of road traffic accident research in India from 1977 to 2020. It aimed to examine type of publications with their citations and usage, the year wise publication and citation growth, most preferred journals, authors’ preference of keywords used, collaboration of Indian authors, authorship pattern and most prolific authors, and top contributing organizations. Gender disparity is present in many research fields including in Library and Information Science (LIS). This paper studied gender disparity among Indian LIS professionals and measure the intellectual output 20 years. The study reviewed 1,195 publications in the LIS field from 1999 to 2018, determining the gender of the first author. An analysis of the publication list determined the yearly contributions of male and female authors, together with the average distributions, yearly citation rates and other metrics, by gender. This work aimed at demonstrating India’s scientific contribution on Covid-19 research and analyzes the emerging research pattern using various bibliometric parameters.

Indian publications data on Covid-19 research were retrieved from SCOPUS database using structured query. VOSviewer & CiteSpace data visualization tools are used to generate citation, co-citation map and keyword clusters for better understanding of the research pattern. Background: As of October 1, 2020, World Health Organization (WHO) reports that COVID-19 has spread in 216 countries or territories or areas which results into throwing billions of lives under lockdown as healthcare services struggle to cope. Therefore, timely access to healthcare information during COVID-19 crisis is mandatory to restrain its spread.

Objectives: To comprehend the information needs and seeking behaviour of general public during COVID-19 outbreak in India.

Methods: A national survey through an online questionnaire was conducted in India and 1310 respondents participated in the study through snowball sampling technique.
