This paper has made an attempt to explore the awareness and utilization of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) among undergraduate students of Government Dental College in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala District. The required data were gathered from the Government Dental College in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala District. a total number of 100 questionnaires were distributed and 62 filled questionnaires were collected back. This study aims to explore the gender disparity in Computer usage for teaching and learning among Indian academics. A total of 2463 samples were selected from 11 state universities in Karnataka, India. A well designed questionnaire was used to collect the data from the respondents. The result shows that, half of the male (50.2%) and female (49.8%) respondents used computer. Further, most of the male respondents used computer every day (58.0%) compared to female (42.0%) respondents. Instances of information communication technology project failure are being recorded in Nigeria. This paper focuses on a design-reality gap to assess the selected information communication technology (ICT) projects in federal universities, South West of Nigeria. We determine the success and failure rates of the selected ICT projects based on the design-reality gap model dimensions: information, technology, processes, objectives and values, staffing and skills, management systems and structures.
