SCI mago is the Journal and Country Ranking database available freely on the internet. We have accessed the required data from 2008 to 2017 from this database and evaluated the research productivity of SAARC countries and citations in the field of social science subject. This article studied SAARC countries publications, citations, citations per document, self-citations and degree of self – citations. The study revealed that on an average 6054 articles are published during the study period. India is the only country to publish more than the average citations publications during the ten years of study. India received 78% of citations …

Indian Citation Index database is a influential tool to pursuit, track, measure and collaborate in the sciences, social sciences, arts, and humanities. This research paper is discussed the published research articles, citations and self-citations in the International Journal of Information Dissemination and Technology which are available in the Indian Citation Index. During the period of study 2011 to 2019 435 articles were published. Among them maximum of 58(13.33%) articles published in 2014 and minimum of 20(4.60%) articles published in 2019 were identified.

Indian Citation Index database is a authoritative tool to search, track, and measure and collaborate in the sciences, social sciences, arts, and humanities. This paper is discussed the published research articles, citations and self-citations in PEARL : Journal of Library & Information Science which are available in Indian Citation Index. During the period of study 2007 to 2019 totally 516 articles were published which are indexed in Indian Citation Index. Among the 516 articles, maximum of 55(10.66 %)articles published in 2017 and minimum of 19 (3.68%)articles published in 2007.

The present bibliometric study aims to analyze the Indian research contribution in cloud computing from 2011 to 2020. The data was collected from Scopus database using “cloud Computing” keyword and limited to articles final publications. The study analysis many bibliometric parameters like; year-wise distribution of publications; most productive authors, titles, sources and citation counts. This paper carried out the bibliometric analysis of research publications published by the BLDEA’s V P Dr.P.G.Halakatti College of Engineering and Technology, Vijayapur for the period from 2001 to 2019. In this period, 156 research articles were published and indexed in Scopus bibliographical citation databases. It examines the year wise publications, the annual distribution of publications, author productivity, etc. Analysis found that, the publications raised from 0.64%to 18.59% publications from the year 2001 to 2019 and observed good progress in scholarly publications. The study investigated the use of URLs as citations and their longevity, based on 966 articles published in selected LIS journals published during 2011-2015. It is found that there are 36,968 references in 966 articles with an average of 38.26 per article. Of the 36,968 references, there are 5,867 URL references. Each of the 5,867 URL citations were checked using W3C link checker to verify their accessibility. The present study is conducted to analyze the accessibility, deterioration and half-life of URLs of web documents cited in Current Science Journal published during 2015 -2016. A total of 1724 URLs cited in the 1564 articles were examined. It was found that 56.67 percent of URLs were accessible at the time of testing and the remaining 43.33 per-cent of URLs were not accessible. The study investigated the research publications of the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) during the period 2009-2018 as reflected in Web of Science database. The results show that 1694 papers were published and gained 20158 citations. The average number of citations per paper identified is 11.89%. Neuroscience Neurology, Psychiatry, and Surgery are the most preferred domains to publish the articles. The global collaboration of NIMHANS is mostly with the USA, England, and Australia.
