The study was set up to investigate compliance with library rules and regulations by students at Valley View University (VVU). The study employed a descriptive survey design and simple random sampling technique. The total population of the students at the time of carrying out this study was two thousand, two hundred and seventy-three (2,273). ABSTRACT

This study sought information from respondents on the problems caused by the students use of cell phones in university libraries in Anambra State of Nigeria. The study adopted descriptive survey research design, that traced the history of cell phones in Nigeria. The population of 3000 registered student’s library users was studied. This study examined the relationship between use of library resources and research productivity of lecturers in Private Universities in South-South geopolitical zone of Nigeria. Descriptive research design was adopted for the study. A sample of 368 lecturers was selected for the study and questionnaire was the instrument used for data collection. 231 copies of the questionnaire were retrieved, representing 63% response rate. Data was analyzed using simple percentages, and mean; Pearson correlation coefficient was used for test of hypothesis.

This study investigated research skills, ICT application and sustainable library development. Descriptive survey research design was used for the study. The population of the study was 142 librarians working in the university libraries of twelve universities in South-west, Nigeria. Purposive sampling technique and total enumeration sampling technique were employed for the study. Data were collected using well-structured questionnaire. Six research questions were raised and three hypotheses were tested at 0.05 level of significance using Pearson-Product Moment Correlation Coefficient. This paper notes that workers in a bid to be productive in order to actualise oganisational goals, become overloaded with tasks. This naturally leads to feeling pressure which can result in stress feelings of not being satisfied with the job situation workers find themselves in.
