Unwillingness and negative attitude of librarians was observed as a factor that hinders users from accessing information resources in most developing country libraries. This negative attitude could be associated with the demographic factors of the librarians hence this study investigated demographic factors as predictors of career commitment of librarians in South-South universities, Nigeria. Three research questions guided the study and three hypotheses were formulated at 0.05 level of significance using simple regression analysis. Objective- The main objective of the study is to investigate the assessment of social media use on study habits among nursing students in Babcock University ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria. Methods- The study adopted survey research design. Structured questionnaire was used to collect data. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to analysis. Specifically, data collected were analyzed using charts, graphs, percentages and frequency were used to answer the research questions. The Analysis of Variance were used to test hypotheses at 0.05 significant level.

The Institutional Repository (KNUSTSpace) of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) plays an essential role in meeting the information needs of scholars by providing free, instant, and endless online access to the full content of scholarly resources. The study investigated users’ cognisance, access and usage effectiveness of electronic academic resources in KNUSTSpace to determine how it has satisfied the information needs of users. This study examined faculty views and perceptions of the library and information science (LIS) programs of the six member nations of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in enhancing academic quality using formal assessment. Two focus groups were held in Kuwait and Muscat. In each focus group, nine participants discussed opportunities, practices, possibilities, and mechanics of assessment and assessment-based systems. It was found that these schools were active in assessment, as CILIP conducted extensive assessment in two programs, resulting in accreditation.
