This article aims to evaluate the ability of the National Library of Indonesia in its function as a public library. It also describes the ability of the National Library of Indonesia organization in the context of Hybrid Library Governance (HLG). The study examines the research productivity of the DESIDOC Journal of Library and Information Technology (DJLIT) for a selected period of 2012-2020. In 2012, the Scopus database started indexing DJLIT publications, and it was the motivation behind choosing this specific period for the present study.
