This study aims to analyze disaster communication literacy in mothers in dealing with floods in Banjar Regency. This study is qualitative research and uses a case study type. Data collection techniques using semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants in this study are mothers who have children and live in the Banjar Regency area. Supporting informants are BPBD as an institution involved in flood disaster management. Data analysis in the form of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding/verification.

This short commentary introduces and discusses the “Library Philosophy and Practice (LPP) Phenomenon,” wherein a scholarly journal published in a developed country has an extremely large number of authors from developing countries, relative to the typical journal. Elements of journals that fit the LPP phenomenon are discussed, as well as what this phenomenon says about barriers to scholarly publishing for researchers from developing nations. Implications for journals that lack diverse authorship from developing nations are listed. This phenomenon may be studied in other disciplines to further illuminate divides in the scholarly realm.

Objective: This study investigated the influence of available media information on Pelvic Inflammatory Disease awareness, knowledge, perception and preventive practices regarding the condition among women of reproductive age in South-Eastern Nigeria.

This paper focuses on a design-reality gap assessment of selected information communication technology (ICT) projects in federal universities, South West of Nigeria. We determine the success and failure rates of the selected ICT projects based on the design-reality gap model dimensions: information, technology, processes, objectives and values, staffing and skills, management systems and structures, and so on. Thus, we adopt survey research design, including qualitative and quantitative methods of data collection in this paper. Moreover, we use purposive sampling technique in selecting the sample data. In the absence of research aimed to measure the bibliodiversity of the Spanish publishing sector through indicators, the general objective of this work is to determine quantitatively whether the Spanish publishing sector is bibliodiverse. The specific goals are the following: a) analyze those necessary conditions to promote bibliodiversity, b) identify the main variables that conform bibliodiversity, and c) measure the degree of bibliodiversity.
