The Federal Reserve System, Dan Gaske

Honors Theses

The Federal Reserve System, a little over fifty years old, is now the dominant force in the monetary policy of our nation's economy. Through its use of the reserve requirements, discount rate and other methods, the Federal Reserve System can greatly control the mood and pace of the economy. The 'Fed', as the system is called, has over 6,750 member banks, and has over eighty-five percent of the nation's demand deposits in its vaults. The Alliance For Progress: Policy Continuation Or Actual Reform?, Mario Mion Apr 1967

The Alliance For Progress: Policy Continuation Or Actual Reform?, Mario Mion

The laboratory consisted of shelf after shelf of unclassified books arranged in no order and covering fields from physical education to American literature. The collection had to be evaluated, generally organized, classified, lettered and reshelved. Later, author, title, and shelf-list cards will be made. From a hodge-podge of books with limited value because of lack of organization, this collection has become a useful library. No longer will one have to search for a book through every shelf only to find …

Today's Elementary School Library, Sharon Gail Floyd

Honors Theses

"A library is a library... A library is a place for books. And Books need people to enjoy them, children to pore over them, to wander through them and wonder, to leaf over them and laugh over them and love them. Teacher need to know them to delight in them, and to want to share them. The above statement is one which this paper will attempt to prove is very correct. One of the most stimulating and interesting developments in …
