An Examination Of Trust In News Mediums By College Students: A Comparison Of Egypt And The Usa, Karim Soliman

Polls have shown a decline in trust in the USA when it comes to trust in Media. This study looks at if trust in news mediums really does matter. The study also compares a sample from USA to Egypt. The study finds that American college students have more trust in traditional news media but use it less than newer forms such as social media. The Egyptian sample has high trust in social media and low trust in traditional news media that are normally under the influence of the Egyptian government. It is the purpose of this paper, then, to study the impact that H. L. Loucks may have had on three major issues of South Dakota populism already stated: the populist position in the state, the formation of a third party and fusion with the Democrats. Neither major state historian of the period--George Kingsbury nor Doane Robinson--has been kind in his assessment of Loucks and the state's populists. Kingsbury, according to Yale historian Howard R. Lamar, hinted they were "a combination of cranks and demagogues." Robinson has even admitted insinuating that Loucks was a crook--a mistake he …

The purpose of this study was to examine schools within a five-state area that offer photography courses as part of the regular curriculum. Specific areas investigated were photography courses offered, length of classes, number of classroom sessions, name and author of textbooks, class sizes, hours of darkroom use, student laboratory fees, film processing procedures, types of school-owned cameras, photography budgets, teacher qualifications, photography contests, success of programs, equipment and cost to initiate a basic course, use of second -hand equipment, years courses were offered, classroom instruction materials , and class outlines. This cause was the development and success of the paper, which is in turn is the effect of there being some cause for its development. That cause is the town of Brookings. What I have been trying to say is that without the town of Brookings there would have been no Brookings Register. Does it not seem logical then, to take up a brief history of the found and settlement of this town?
