The use and abuse of substances has been a problem throughout the country for decades. Treatment programs attempt to mitigate the issue, but death rates from all drugs are rising each year, showing a need to implement alternate treatment options. This literature review analyzed multiple scholarly articles on the components of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy. The visualization technique used in Hypnotherapy mirrors The Miracle Question that is used in Solution-Focused Therapy.
