This research looks at the relevance of Dublin to Joyce’s writings and to the relevance of Joyce’s writings to Dublin. It is concerned with the virtual Dublin of Joyce’s writings, the physical manifestation of Dublin over time, and the relationships between them.

Evidence For Orbital Public Transport Corridors In The Greater Dublin Area, David O'Connor

Previous studies have looked at the absence and need for orbital public transport corridors in the Greater Dublin Area [1]. This current paper outlines recent evidence which demonstrates that demand for such orbital services exists. Recent travel survey data indicates that demand exists in Dublin for both orbital and “networked” trips. In surveys of public transport users on two public transport corridors in the Greater Dublin Area, 27% of people transferred either from or to another public transport service as part of their journey. Young People's Experiences Of Crime: An Investigation Into The Victimisation And Offending Of Inner-City Dublin Youth, Kalis Pope

This project is one of the first empirical investigations into youth victimisation and offending in Ireland and is one of three research projects that were established under the Youth Crime Research Project: Young People’s Experiences of Crime. Victim surveys are of particular interest to this study, as they help to illuminate the 'dark figure' of crime through ascertaining individual's experiences of victimisation, while simultaneously collecting pertinent information regarding their own level of criminality.
