The increase in violent video game playing is a concern to many health professionals. Violent video games have been associated with detrimental effects in brain function and behavior in the people who play them, whether consistently or only a couple of times. Psychologist have examined violent video games and their negative effects in an effort to determine their relationship. A majority of experiments have shown an increase of aggressive behaviors in participants who played video games.
