Teachers can use neurobiological explanations to evaluate students' behavior and performance and create more supportive learning settings in their school environment. There is a growing interest among educators regarding the potential benefits of incorporating neuroscience into teaching practices. However, there is a lack of comprehensive understanding of how to effectively integrate cognitive neuroscience into teacher education programs to maximize its impact on student learning and teacher development. This study focuses on understanding teachers' views on the integration of neuroscience principles in educational settings by utilizing a questionnaire and interviews to gather data from participating teachers. This exploratory study elicits NGO perceptions regarding Egypt’s Ministry of Education and Technical Education’s (MOETE) reform efforts, their interest in participating in education reform and policy advocacy, and their existing relationship with the ministry. Drawing on the findings from semi-structured, in-depth interviews with 13 representatives of education NGOs based in Cairo and Giza, this thesis takes a qualitative approach toward answering the following research question: How do NGOs targeting K-12 youth perceive their role in shaping education reform in Egypt? Education is a key component contributing to a country’s socioeconomic status. Accordingly, countries that seek better economic development focus on the quality of education. Egypt realized that and started a series of educational reforms, none of which delivered the desired objectives. Regrettably, this was clear in Egyptian students' poor performance on international tests in the years 2013/2014 and 2014/2015 (World Economic Forum 2013; 2014). In 2018, the Egyptian Ministry of Education announced the launch of Education 2.0 (EDU 2.0) reform which adopted transformative, multidisciplinary, student-centered educational pedagogies to enhance the quality of education. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), breast cancer (BC) is one of the most common types of cancer. Research reported survivors experienced positive changes in their relationship, strength level, and how they admired life after cancer. They said that they recognized elements that promoted post-traumatic growth, such as altering their way of life and accomplishing individually meaningful actions. This literature review reported that religious coping and meaning in life could predict post-traumatic growth. The importance of educational evaluation relies on its aim to ensure the accountability of public schools yo the government and beneficiaries, and contribute to the improvement of quality of education in schools through the collection and analysis of data on school performance. This study highlights various conceptual frameworks and practical methodologies underlying the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation systems in public education. This study sets forth for the first time the vital role of Dar Al'ulum, Egypt's first and only continuously operating university level teaching training institution, in the nationalization of Islamic and Arabic education in Egypt. Ali Mubarak, nineteenth century Egypt's longest enduring bureaucrat, initiated , and Khedive Ismail (1863-1879) founded Dar al Ulum in 1892 to train teachers of Arabic and Turkish for the newly expanding national (amiriyya) school system. This study grew out of a PhD dissertation, "Education, Language and Culture in Modern Egypt: Dar Al Ulum and its Graduates (1872-1923)" presented at The University of Michigin in 1978.
