Analysis Of Portrait-Ekphrasis In Aesthetic Interpretation, Yulduz Mamadiyarova

The article is devoted the portrait phenomenon, its study in literary studies, the issues of its illumination in words (ekphrasis), the writer's image style, etc. Also, the phenomenon of portrait-ekphrasis, descriptive and explanatory descriptions of portraits, ekphrastic expressions in portraits are studied. Portrait-ekphrasis are analyzed on the example of French writer Amin Maalouf's work "Samarcande" and its Uzbek translation, Germaine de Staal's "Corinne ou l’Italie" and its Russian translation. Through the examples presented in these works, it is scientifically proved that the features of portrait-ekphrasis are expressed through various comparative phraseologisms, similes, metaphors, stable combinations, expressions and language units.
