One of the less known poets of the pre - Islamic era, the Jahiliya, is ‘Afnoon'. His name is ‎controversial, but he was one of the Taghlib tribe of the Arabian Peninsula. ‎ This poet was eclipsed by the overwhelming incidents of his time. ‎ His poetry, however, was distinctive in the sense that it reflects his awkward inner self and UN ‎‎- stabled personality.
