The nuniyya by Abul Baqa al- Rundi is one of the famous poems which portrayed the ‎Muslim catastrophe in Andalus. Although this essay reviews other poems on the subject, the ‎nuniyya remains the foremost poem on the subject. Several studies were made on this poem. ‎But the present essay lays special emphasis on historical, psychological, intellectual and ‎technical dimensions.
