The Japanese industries have proven to be strong competitors to various American industries. This has been especially true in the electronic and household product industries, where the quality of the merchandise has improved so greatly that it often equals or betters its American counterpart. A significant part of these improvements can be attributed to the use of American technology and American capital invested by Japan.
