This paper’s purpose is to explore manga and anime’s potential to have a place in the scholarly community for media and literature due to its new media effects on its audiences. To do this, there will be an in-depth narrative perspective analysis of the first two and last two episodes of Hiromu Arakowa’s anime series Fullmetal Alchemist (2003) to find the ultimate moral(s) of the story.
