Atlet berprestasi memiliki risiko yang bisa menyebabkan kesulitan keuangan saat pensiun dari olahraga. Atlet dengan risiko cedera tinggi berpeluang lebih besar mengalami kesulitan keuangan karena berpotensi pensiun lebih dini akibat cedera. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana manajamen risiko yang dilakukan atlet berprestasi dari cabang olahraga dengan risiko cedera tinggi untuk meminimalisir risiko saat pensiun dengan mengoptimalkan pendapatan yang dimiliki ketika masih aktif sebagai atlet. Collegiate Athlete Experiences With Covid-19 And Attitudes About Returning To Sport, Morgan Davies, Anthony Logalbo

When COVID-19 was declared a global pandemic, collegiate athletic departments faced the difficult decision to postpone or cancel sport activities. Aside from concerns of transmission, disruptions in sport impacted college athletes broadly. This study was designed to investigate athletes’ experiences during the pandemic toward developing a better understanding of athletes’ attitudes about COVID-19 and returning to sport. Participants included 245 varsity collegiate athletes across NCAA sports and divisions who voluntarily completed an online survey between August and October 2020. As the number of individuals with a disability grows worldwide, the Paralympic Games and para-sports have seen a growth in participation (WHO, 2011). However, international sporting competitions including the Paralympic Games remain dominated by developed countries (Andreff, 2001). Purpose: The purpose of our research is to increase the level of pre-competitive readiness of highly qualified sambo wrestlers at the stage of sports improvement .

Methods: The study uses methods of analysis of scientific and methodological literature, questionnaires; pedagogical observations; medical and biological research methods; control tests on a five-stage program for increasing general and special physical fitness; pedagogical experiment; mathematical and statistical analysis of the data obtained.

Through a review of scholarly research articles, this study examines female sports fan motivations and behaviors and how they differ from the classic male sports fan. Additionally, this study aims to investigate how sports marketing executives try to appeal to women as sports consumers and how these practices have begun to change in recent years. The Native American powwow has served to maintain the culture of North America’s Indigenous peoples since before the arrival of European colonialists. In traditional forms of the powwow, competition is not common whereas contest powwows are characterized by the primacy of competition. We assess similarities and differences between the contest powwow and competitive sport found within the broader American society through in-depth semi-structured interviews with 14 competitive contest powwow dancers.
