Running for sport has become more popular over the years as part of participatory sporting events. Running events are held in many parts of the world and at different distances including charity runs. The aim of this research is to examine the motivations of charity run participants from the perspectives of physical activity and benevolence. The sample of the research consists of the participants who have taken part as a charity runner of Adım Adım, an organization promoting charity runs in Turkey.
