This report discusses Gun Country, a multi-format online project that serves as the capstone of my Social Journalism Masters degree at the Craig Newmark Graduate school of Journalism. The report begins by exploring the community the project was built to serve, the gun safety community, made up of survivors of gun violence, their friends and family and other advocates for gun violence prevention.
