The study aimed at identifying the role of social networks in combating extremism for young people from the perspective of university students, given that they are the most widely used group for these sites in society which will help in presenting a vision on employing these sites to combat extremism. To achieve this goal, the study used the quantitative descriptive approach based on a social survey, the study sample consisted of (6,831) undergraduate students at the Hashemite University in Zarqa in Jordan.
