On December 24, 2021, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress adopted the second amendment to the Law of the People's Republic of China on Science and Technology Progress. This revision systematically and comprehensively updates the existing basic laws on science and technology, and the depth, strengthen, and scope of this revision are unprecedented in the history of China's science and technology legislation.
