Orthodoxy And The New Russia, Jonathan Clarke, Duncan Reid Thd, Med

Occasional Papers on Religion in Eastern Europe

This paper examines the contemporary phenomenon of the reemergence of the Orthodox Church not only as the leading religious institution of post-Soviet Russia, but also as a core marker of identity. The disappearance of the Soviet Union has produced a profound crisis of idemity in Russia. Traditional markers of identity, particularly the Orthodox Church, have assumed an importance hardly anticipated before the collapse of the USSR.

Feminism In Peril: Contending With The F-Word, Melanie Springer Mock Jan 2007

Feminism In Peril: Contending With The F-Word, Melanie Springer Mock

Faculty Publications - Department of English

Excerpt: "I was thrilled.

My senior thesis, an essay exploring the theme of oppression in several women’s novels, had been accepted for presentation at a literature conference. William Tyndale As An Evangelical Theologian, Donald Dean Smeeton Ph.D. Jan 2007

His theology motivated and guided his work as a translator and as a polemical and exegetical theologian.
