Last academic year, Ouachita was one of the few universities to provide a fully in-person education. As we prepared for this year, we challenged ourselves to provide all the benefits of a traditional campus experience.In this effort to provide the typical in the least typical of times, we called on our seniors—the only class who remembered a year without COVID—to restore and revive the traditions that make Ouachita, Ouachita. You, our seniors, rose to the occasion, and I will forever be grateful for you, for the leadership you demonstrated and the example you set.

The largest graduating class in Cedarville University history celebrated the start of a new chapter in their lives during the 126th commencement Saturday, May 7, in the Doden Field House. Cedarville awarded 924 graduates, 774 of which were undergraduate students and 150 graduate students.

Graduation often brings with it much planning, as students work to finish the school year well and look toward the future. This year, three graduating nursing students from Cedarville University will spend their first 26 days after graduation serving in the West African nation of Togo alongside three rising seniors, associate professor of nursing Scott Long, Cedarville alumna and current Mayo Clinic employee Tonilynn Fleming and local missionaries.

With the continued growth of Cedarville University's student body--15 consecutive record enrollments--Cedarville will hold two commencement ceremonies when the 126th annual ceremonies are held Saturday, May 7, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Both programs will be held in the Doden Field House.
