The resource curse paradox, i.e., that resource rich countries tend to have weaker economies than no-resource countries, causes challenges for low and middle-income countries, including Mongolia (Moran, 2013). To avoid the resource curse, Mongolia should undertake three policy measures: diversifying its economy, establishing a sovereign wealth fund and imposing import restrictions.

The socio-political situation has a huge impact on the youth participation in the development agenda, whether locally or internationally. That was obvious during and after the Egyptian revolution, which was led by young people. Youth participation in development field in Egypt has had a significant increase in comparison with before the revolution, both locally — through NGOs and youth-led organizations — and in the international development agenda, through participation in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

Since independence, burning fossil fuels to fulfill the energy demand of Pakistan has led to the deterioration of the environment and an increase in air pollution in major cities such as Karachi and Lahore. Correspondingly, rapid inustrializaiton and econmic growth has resulted in a large difference between teh demand and supply of electricity in Pakistan due to rolling blackouts, which are common. This study focuses on the optimal utilization of solar energy as an alternative to fossil fuels which will lead to imrpovements in Pakistan's envornment, economy and energy supply (EEE).

Harm reduction defines a set of policies and interventions aiming to address the adverse health consequences associated with drug use. Compared to the general population, prisoners are disproportionally affected by HIV. Thanks to its strong emphasis on public health and human rights principles, harm reduction can effectively reduce transmission of HIV inside prison settings.

A small area estimation (SAE) technique, EBLUP under Fey Herriot model, is employed to reveal their number in regencies of Java Island. Free and independent media are the basis of every democratic society. In order for media to fulfil their watchdog role, they need to be politically and economically independent in their work, operate under clearly prescribed legal standards and be free from inadequate external political influence.
