This study investigates educational reform and its role in enhancing economic development in developing countries, learning from the case of South Korea which implemented its educational reform since the 60’s. In the case of South Korea, educational reform was one of the pillars in transforming it from a developing country in the 60’s to a developed one starting from early 80’s and it was examined to show the relation between education and economic development.
