The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Community Center summer day camp is an eight-week program for Kindergarten through 6th Grade youth that is partially funded through a grant provided by the Learning Community of Douglas and Sarpy Counties (LCDSC). The Kroc Center contracted with the Consortium for Organizational Research and Evaluation (CORE) at the University of Nebraska at Omaha to conduct an external evaluation of the program.

This final report summarizes the major findings of a Non-Profit Capacity-Building Survey conducted for the Omaha Community Foundation working in cooperation with the Non-Profit Association of the Midlands.1 The purpose of the survey is to help determine which functional capacity-building areas (and specific activities within each) pose the greatest challenges for non-profit organizations in fulfilling their missions.

The debate over expanding health insurance coverage has captivated the United States, especially during 2009.
