Coming back to school after a gap in your education can be a daunting task. For students with children (SWC), the undertaking has different challenges than their classmates. Providing resources geared towards their success plays a significant role in the student's ability to complete their education. Concepts found in organizational socialization and culturally responsive pedagogy, were used in this project. The focus was on the veteran population who are leaving the unique organizations of the military to transition into higher education. Differences in socialization techniques used by the military and higher education are vastly different and contribute to unique outcomes for the new members. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether silence was performed as an act of submission or power in the sexual harassment case of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh in 2018. Additionally, this study was concerned with how gender role expectations were communicatively represented throughout the hearing. This qualitative case study took a Critical approach through a Feminist Poststructural lens, navigating through concepts such as: discourse, silence, and gender as a cultural construct.

AI-powered chatbots are gaining traction across various industries, especially in the financial sector. Despite these implementations, chatbot adoption and usage among consumers is still low. Grounding on the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology 2 (UTAUT2) model and the Belief Desire Intentions (BDI) model, this study explores factors influencing the adoption of chatbots for financial sectors by emphasizing on the role of user desires in addition to human beliefs.
